Plant Genes and "Omics": Technology Development

(February  11-12, 2016, Vienna, Austria)                                                     Jump to:

Welcome to the International Conference on "Plant Genes and "Omics": Technology Development"!

21st century discoveries, including revolutionary technology of genome editing, made the study of gene structure, function and “Omics” highly effective and robust. Fundamental biological processes can now be studied by applying the full range of Gene and “Omics” technologies that are becoming essential tools in most strategically important research areas. Gene and “Omics” technologies include induced mutagenesis, forward/reverse genetics tools, precision genome editing, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, phenomics and other “omics” methods. These powerful modern” technologies have opened new avenues in plant biology and crop improvement..

International Conference "Plant Genes and "Omics": Technology Development" to be held in Vienna on February 11-12, 2016 in Vienna, Austria  will discuss wide range of modern technologies to discover plant gene, its function and various “Omics” tools and technologies.

Vienna is located in the heart of Europe on the banks of the Danube River, and considered as one of the most important economic, cultural and touristic large cities of central Europe. Apart from providing top science, the Conference will capture the spirit of the city thanks to the central location of the venue offering a multitude of cultural events.

This three-day event will provide leading academy and industry scientists a platform to communicate recent advances in "Plant Genes and "Omics": Technology Development", and an opportunity to establish multilateral collaborations.

The International Conference "Plant Genes and "Omics": Technology Development" will cover the following research topics:

• Spontaneous and induced mutagenesis
• Insertion mutagenesis and mutant populations
• Forward and Reverse Genetics tools
• Genome, Protein, RNA sequencing
• Bioinformatics, Genome Annotation & Data Mining
• Genomics
• Proteomics
• Metabolomics
• Phenomics
• Microarrays
• Systems biology & Network Discovery
